Drieluik met herinneringen aan de uit Enschede verdwenen textielindustrie, en met name de katoenspinnerij de Bamshoeve. Ooit was Enschede (na Manchester) de op één na grootste textielstad van de wereld; en de Bamshoeve met een oppervlakte van ca. 8 ha. één van de grootste fabrieken van Europa. Maar vanaf eind jaren '60 verdween de bedrijfstak naar lagelonenlanden. De Bamshoeve hield het door herhaalde fusies en saneringen nog vol tot 1990. Toen viel het doek definitief. Het complex werd vervolgens gebruikt was als bedrijfsverzamelgebouw tot de grote vuurwerkramp van 13 mei 2000. De brand die volgde op de ontploffing van beruchte container met vuurwerk sloeg al snel over naar het terrein van de Bamshoeve. Op een transformatorhuisje en één nu gerestaureerd opslaggebouw voor de katoenbalen na ging alles verloren. /

Triptych with memorabilia of the textile industry that disappearerd from Enschede; and particularly the cotton spinning-mill the Bamshoeve. Once Enschede was (after Manchester) the second largest textile city in the world; and the Bamshoeve with a square area of around 19 acres one of the largest factories in Europe. But from the end of the '60s this sector of activity moved to low income countries. Through repeated remediation and mergers the Bamshoeve survived till 1990. Then the final curtain fell. The site was afterwards used as a business complex, till the fireworks disaster of Mai 13th, 2000. The fire that started when the  infamous fireworks container exploded quickly spreaded to the Bamshoeve area. Apart from a transformer station and one now restored warehouse for cotton bales, everything got lost.
